Our center attained full department status in 2010, after over 60 years as a division of the OSU Department of Surgery, and maintains one of the most respected and state-of-the-art treatment programs in the Ohio Valley.

The mission of the Department of Plastic Surgery at The Ohio State University is to restore wholeness to people suffering from physical deformities through integrated programs in patient care, education and research in the field of plastic surgery.
