OSU Surgeon Performing Ground-Breaking Treament for Lymphedema
A recent addition to the OSU Department of Plastic Surgery and the James Cancer Center, Dr. Roman Skoracki is one of less than a handful of surgeons in the country performing surgical procedures to reduce lymphedema, a common and painful side effect to many cancer treatments.
Dr. Skoracki’s breakthrough micro-vascular techniques provide relief from the uncomfortable and challenging fluid build up that can result in upper and lower extremities following treatment for a variety of cancers.
